[Watch] Roger Federer reacts after Rafael Nadal confirms his participation in Laver Cup 2024

Tennis legend Roger Federer teamed up with Rafael Nadal to play his last match at the 2022 Laver Cup
Former tennis player Roger Federer recently took to social media and reacted to Rafael Nadal‘s admission to Team Europe ahead of the upcoming Laver Cup.
Rafael Nadal, who recently made his comeback to tennis after a prolonged break, has announced that he will be participating in the 2024 Laver Cup as a part of Team Europe. The Spaniard is expected to team up with the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, and more for the competition.
Bjorn Borg will be captaining Team Europe. The competition is scheduled to take place from September 20 to 22. The 2024 Laver Cup will take place at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. After the announcement was made, the 22-time Grand Slam winner said:
“I am very happy to be playing Laver Cup in Berlin for Team Europe. I have some really special memories from my Laver Cup experiences, including all the emotions from London two years ago playing alongside Roger for the last time.”

He added, “At this stage in my career, I really want to go out there and make the most of every opportunity I am given.”
Later, former tennis star Roger Federer, who partnered with Rafael Nadal at the 2022 Laver Cup for his last match, also reacted to the news. Federer uploaded a series of stories on his Instagram account, where he mentioned Rafael Nadal.

“Vamos Rafa,” he wrote in a story. “Excited to have you join us in Berlin. See you there!” Roger Federer wrote on another Instagram story. As per Federer’s stories, it seems like he would also be present in the Uber Arena.
In 2024, the seventh edition of the Laver Cup will be played, and the captains will also remain the same. John McEnroe will be the captain of Team World, and the likes of Alex de Minaur, Tommy Paul, and Taylor Fritz are confirmed to represent the defending champion in Berlin.
