Rafael Nadal has most titles in the tournament’s history.
The Madrid Open, formerly known as Madrid Masters is an annual professional tennis tournament held in Madrid, Spain. The ATP Masters 1000 event is usually held in late April and early May.
The Madrid Open has undergone significant transformation since its inception. Originally an ATP Masters Series tournament, the Madrid Open began in 2002 as a men’s-only event, taking over from the defunct Eurocard Open in Stuttgart. The tournament found its first home at the Madrid Arena, where it was played on indoor hard courts until 2008.
Rafael Nadal, a Spanish tennis player won a record of five titles followed by Petra Kvitova, a Czech professional tennis player won three titles in the singles category. Let us have a look at the all-time winners of the tournament.
