5. Pete Sampras – 63 wins
Pete Sampras compiled a 63-7 record at Wimbledon, making his debut in 1989 and playing his final match in 2002. Over 14 appearances, Sampras won all seven finals he reached, dominating the 1990s with his serve-and-volley style. His first title came in 1993, and he went on to win seven titles in eight years (1993–95, 1997–2000), a record at the time.
The American’s grass-court prowess and mental fortitude made him nearly unbeatable at SW19, and his seven crowns stood as the Open Era benchmark until Federer broke it in 2017.

4. Boris Becker – 71 wins
Boris Becker boasts a 71-12 record at Wimbledon across 15 appearances from 1984 to 1999. The German burst onto the scene as a 17-year-old in 1985, becoming the Top five youngest players to win men’s singles title at Wimbledon in Open Era—a record that still stands.
Becker reached seven finals, winning three titles (1985, 1986, 1989), cementing himself as an all-time great.
3. Jimmy Connors – 84 wins
Jimmy Connors finished with an 84-18 match record at Wimbledon, spanning 20 appearances from his debut in 1972 to his final showing in 1992. Connors won two titles (1974 and 1982) and was a four-time runner-up. Known for his fiery competitiveness and relentless baseline play, Connors reached the semi-finals or better 11 times at the grass court major, a testament to his consistency and longevity.

2. Novak Djokovic – 102 wins

Novak Djokovic holds a superb 102-12 record at Wimbledon after reaching the final in 2024. Since his debut in 2005, Djokovic has claimed seven titles (2011, 2014, 2015, 2018–2022) and has been a runner-up three times, making him one of the most successful players in the tournament’s history.
The Serbian’s remarkable movement, return game, and mental strength have made him a dominant force on grass, and his ability to win tight matches in the latter stages has defined his legacy at the grass court major. The Swiss icon reached the quarter-finals or better 18 times and holds numerous Wimbledon records, including most finals and most match wins.
