Jannik Sinner will be making his fourth appearance in ATP Paris Masters this year.

The 2024 ATP Paris Masters could see Jannik Sinner become the first Italian player to clinch the singles title. The final ATP Masters 1000 of the season will see the top players hoping to collect as many ranking points as possible. Sinner will have a tough draw against his rivals as he will need to continue his current form to lift the trophy.

The Italian has competed in the past three editions of Paris Masters and could strike it big in his fourth appearance. He made his debut in Paris in 2021 and lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the opening round. In 2022, Sinner lost to Marc-Andrea Huesler of Switzerland in the first match. It was not until 2023 that he secured his first win in the event after beating American Mackenzie McDonald in the first round.

But Jannik Sinner could not progress further in Paris as he withdrew from the event. He stated that the decision was made while considering his health as the match against McDonald finished at midnight. Sinner said that he had less than 12 hours to prepare for his third round clash against Australian Alex de Minaur due to which he had to issue a walkover.

This time the event organisers will hopefully improve their match schedule as they could face the risk of players withdrawing from the event. With ATP Finals and Davis Cup approaching next month, players will be mindful about injuries. The main draw of the Paris Masters is expected to begin from October 28th.

Jannik Sinner records personal best season wins in 2024

Sinner has won 65 matches as of now in the 2024 season and has achieved his season best record. In the 2023 season, he won 64 matches and lost 15 while securing 4 titles. This year, he has already won 65 matches against six losses and seven titles. With a few more events to go, Sinner will be further collecting milestones.

The 23-year-old will be next seen in the Paris Masters, ATP Finals and Davis Cup. With three confirmed events, Sinner could soon hit the 70 win mark for the first time in his career. He already has a 91.5 percent record this season and a few more wins will boost his overall record. The upcoming trio of events are crucial for Sinner and Italy.

He has cemented his place in the top spot as it is assured that he will end the season with the crown. With his rankings in order, Sinner will hope to make history in Paris.
