The Paris Olympics 2024 will feature some of the biggest names in tennis, with many of them vying for the ultimate prize in the world’s most prestigious event. This major event will unfold at the iconic Roland-Garros, where not long ago, Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek emerged victorious in the singles competition.

According to the official entry list released on July 4 by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), 183 tennis players from 40 different nations will participate in Paris. Russian and Belarusian athletes will be allowed to compete under a neutral flag due to the ongoing conflict involving Russia and Ukraine.

The singles draw will feature 64 competitors, while 32 teams will battle it out in both the men’s and women’s doubles events. The 2024 Games is set to be one of the most memorable and competitive tennis events with proven superstars ready to fight for glory.

This swashbuckling lineup includes including Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, Naomi Osaka, Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev.

When is the Paris Olympics 2024 tennis draw ceremony?

The draw ceremony for all tennis events at Paris Olympics 2024 including singles, doubles and mixed doubles will be held on Thursday (July 25) at 2:30 PM IST in the Club des Loges at Roland-Garros in Paris.

Tennis events are set to begin from July 27 and conclude on August 4 at Roland-Garros. This marks only the second time that the event will be played on clay since tennis was reintroduced as a competitive sport in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.

Men’s singles: Alexander Zverev (Germany)

Women’s singles: Belinda Bencic (Switzerland)

Men’s doubles: Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic (Croatia)

Women’s doubles: Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova (Czechia)

Mixed doubles: Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Andrey Rublev
