Full list of players who have qualified for ATP Finals 2025

Three out of eight players have already booked a spot for the ATP Finals 2025.
Grand Slams and ATP 1000s draw their champions from a pool of up to 128 players vying for glory. But earning a spot at the year-end ATP Finals is a noteworthy triumph all on its own.
Only the eight highest-ranked singles players will be able to participate in the year-end event, based on their ATP Rankings. With Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner already sealing their place in the ATP Final, there are plenty of contenders heading into the year’s final Grand Slam – the US Open.
Canadian Open winner Ben Shelton, compatriot Taylor Fritz, and Alexander Zverev are all serious contenders to qualify. Shelton is close to sealing a maiden appearance at the elite event after a confidence-boosting win in Toronto to rise to the fourth position. Zverev and Fritz, semi-finalists at Toronto, are currently third and sixth in the Live Race to Turin.
Players who qualified for the ATP Finals 2025-
7. Alexander Zverev:
Despite the heartbreak at the ATP Vienna Open 2025, Alexander Zverev’s stellar run throughout the 2025 season has earned him a spot in the ATP finals in Turin.
The German is yet to win his maiden Grand Slam but this year he went just close time smkaing finals appearances at the Australian Open and also at the ATp 500 Vienna Open where yet again Jannik innser defeated him in summit clash.
Alexander has qualified for the ATP Finals eight times. He earned his place at the season-ending championships in eight of the last nine seasons, first qualifying in 2017.
6. Taylor Fritz:
Taylor Fritz is heading back to Turin for his fourth straight appearance at the ATP Finals. The American officially sealed his spot on October 29, after Lorenzo Musetti’s early exit at the Paris Masters that confirmed Fritz’s place in the top eight of the “ATP Race to Turin.”
It’s been a standout season for Fritz, marked by two grass-court titles in Stuttgart and Eastbourne, a career-best semifinal run at Wimbledon, and a solid showing at the US Open, where he reached the quarterfinals.
5. Ben Shelton:
Ben Shelton has officially earned his place among the tennis elite, qualifying for the ATP Finals for the first time in his career after a stunning 2025 season.
The 23-year-old American sealed his debut appearance following his run to the quarterfinals at the Paris Masters, where he was defeated by Jannik Sinner 3–6, 3–6 in quarterfinals.
Shelton climbed to a career-high world No. 6 ranking in August in what could be described as his best career season. He also claimed his first ATP Masters 1000 title at the Canadian Open in Toronto.
His Grand Slam performances were equally brilliant, with a semifinal finish at the Australian Open and a quarterfinal run at Wimbledon showcasing his growth across all surfaces.
4. Alex de Minaur:
Alex de Minaur booked his place at the 2025 ATP Finals, marking his second straight appearance at the year-end tournament. The Australian secured qualification after advancing to the quarterfinals of the Paris Masters, where his run ended against Alexander Bublik.
De Minaur’s 2025 season has been great so far. He reached the Round of 16 in eight of the nine ATP Masters 1000 events. The 25-year-old also lifted the Washington Open trophy, his third career ATP 500 title, and reached another final in Rotterdam earlier in the year.
3. Novak Djokovic:
Novak Djokovic not only qualified for the ATP Finals 2025 but also etched his name into the history as he made it to the season-ending final for the 18th time, tying Roger Federer for the most all-time appearances.
The 38-year-old boasts a 35–11 singles record this year, including his 100th career ATP singles title at the Geneva Open and semifinal runs at all four Grand Slams.
However, his participation remains uncertain, as he withdrew from the final ATP Masters 1000 event of the year in Paris due to injury. Djokovic had also missed the 2024 ATP Finals for the same reason.
2. Jannik Sinner:

Jannik Sinner made history in 2024 as the first Italian to win the ATP Finals trophy. The Italian has bagged the second qualifying spot just ahead of his opening round match in Cincinnati, where he is the defending champion.
The Italian will be competing for the fourth time at the year-end event. Sinner has reached the final in two out of three attempts.
The World No. 1 won the title in 2024 without dropping a set and will return to his home country hoping for another win at the venue. Sinner denied Alcaraz a third straight Wimbledon title in July when he defeated the Spaniard in four sets.
1. Carlos Alcaraz:

World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz had the honour of becoming the first player to secure his spot at the 2025 ATP Finals after reaching the Wimbledon final last month. Alcaraz is on a tour-leading five titles and 48 match wins in the ongoing season.
This includes an unprecedented comeback in Grand Slam history, when he defeated Jannik Sinner from two sets and three match points down in the Roland Garros men’s singles final. Alcaraz has booked a spot at the Turin-based event for the fourth consecutive season.
The 22-year-old Spaniard is yet to win the prestigious event. The World No. 2 registered his best result at the venue in 2023, reaching the semi-finals before going down to eventual champion Novak Djokovic.
