Tsitsipas posted a convincing straight-set win over French qualifier Hugo Gaston, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2, in just 92 minutes.
The former World No. 3 now faces Djokovic, trailing the Serb with a 12-2 win-loss record. Tsitsipas has not defeated the Serbian since their 2019 quarterfinal at the ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai.
