Anisimova’s dream run continues, as she follows her US Open stint with a title in Beijing.
Amanda Anisimova clinched the China Open 2025 title with a commanding 6-0, 2-6, 6-2 win over 20-year-old Linda Noskova, earning her second WTA 1000 crown of the season.
The World No. 4 showcased her trademark power and precision, defeating Coco Gauff and Jasmine Paolini en route to the final, before sealing her 45th victory of an outstanding year.
The American’s triumph comes after a roller-coaster summer in which she finished runner-up at Wimbledon and the US Open. With her fourth career title and first in Beijing, the American has secured a maiden berth at the WTA Finals in Riyadh, cementing her breakout season.
Second and third ranked Iga Swiatek and Gauff failed to convert in Beijing, with Aryna Sabalenka consolidating her lead at the top. Qinwen Zheng meanwhile dropped to #10, after handing over a walkover in her second round due to injury.
