ATP Vienna Open 2025

The total prize money for the Vienna Open 2025 is $3.2 million.

The Vienna Open, also known as the Erste Bank Open, is one of 16 ATP 500 events in the 2025 season. The tournament is hosted by the Austrian capital of Vienna running from October 20–26 alongside the Swiss Indoors Basel Open in neighbouring Switzerland.

The 2025 edition is another significant part of the journey leading up to the ATP Finals in Turin. With top players jostling for valuable ATP points, the event’s prize pool of $3.2 million (approx Rs 28,15,25,593) further sweetens the deal. Last season, the total prize pool was €2.47 million (approx Rs 25,23,99,000).

While Jannik Sinner returns to the event he won in 2023, defending champion Jack Draper will not be around to share in the spoils. Draper has been sidelined for the rest of the season with an arm injury. The Briton has not played since August when he pulled out of the US Open.

Draper pocketed a paycheck of €430,778 ($501,922) for winning the men’s singles title in 2024. The winner in 2025 will earn €511,835 ($596,364) for his efforts.

A prize of €275,390 ($320,870) will be handed over to the runner-up, and 330 ATP points will be added to the tally, with 500 ATP points being granted to the winner.

Aside from Sinner, past champions to turn up at the Vienna Open 2025 are Andrey Rublev (2020), Alexander Zverev (2021), and Daniil Medvedev (2022).

The presence of Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, and the gritty Karen Khachanov could further affect the chances of a predictable week in Vienna. The unpredictable Alexander Bublike can further muddy the waters.

Two main draw wildcards for the upcoming ATP 500 event have predictably benefitted Austrians Sebastian Ofner and Filip Misoli.

The winning team from the doubles draw will leave Vienna richer by €168,120 ($195,885). The finalists get €89,660 ($104,467) for their efforts.

In 2024, the unseeded wildcard Austrian duo of Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler outclassed the top-seeded pair of Neal Skupski and Michael Venus in the title round. It was their second win on home turf after their title run in 2022.
