WTA Finals 2026: All you need to know about prize money and points on offer
The 2026 edition of WTA Finals offers a total prize pool of $10m
The WTA Finals 2026 moves from Riyadh to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California this year, and the prize money has dropped sharply with it. The total pool is $10 million, a 35.48% cut from the $15.5 million offered in 2025. It is the first fall in the pool since 2021, after rises in each of the last three years.
The format is unchanged, with two round-robin groups of four players each. Each singles player gets a participation fee of $220,000 and a further $230,000 for every group-stage win. A semi-final win adds $820,000 and the final win another $1.64 million.
A player who goes through the tournament undefeated collects $3.37 million. That is 35.63% less than the $5.235 million Elena Rybakina earned in 2025. Players who go out early still get a payout, since the participation fee is prorated by matches played.
