Top five records set by Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon 2025

The Serbian reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon 2025.

Novak Djokovic did not appear in the Wimbledon final for the first time since 2017. Novak’s campaign was full of ups and downs. Starting with three convincing wins in the initial round, Djokovic got a reality check in the round of 16 against Alex de Minaur, as he lost the opening set 1-6.

Despite making a comeback later, the 7-time champion’s performance was far from convincing. His victory over Flavio Cobolli was a hard-fought one as well.

Many feared that his level would not be good enough against the best players, and this was evident against World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, who destroyed the Serbian in straight sets, with Djokovic’s injury hindering his movement on court.

Despite the setback in the semi-finals, the 38-year-old has a lot to be proud of, given the number of records he broke at SW19 this year. Here we take a look at five such milestones Djokovic achieved at Wimbledon 2025.

Records Novak Djokovic broke at Wimbledon 2025-

Highest number of semi-final appearances at Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic surpassed Roger Federer to set a new record with 14 Wimbledon semi-final appearances, highlighting his extraordinary consistency and longevity at the All England Club. The Serbian has collected seven titles at the Championship and reached this milestone in 2025 with his tight win over Flavio Cobolli.

Serbian tennis star boasts a stellar 102-12 record at Wimbledon, making him the second-most successful player in terms of match wins at SW19, behind only Roger Federer.

With seven titles and three runner-up finishes since his 2005 debut, the Serbian reached the triple digits at a major event for the second time, having previously achieved this feat at Roland Garros. He is just the second player to have done this, alongside the Swiss maestro.

Most bagels in Grand Slam Majors

This record, shattered by Djokovic, is a testimony to the 24-time Grand Slam champion’s dominance and greatness, as he surpassed Andre Agassi for most 6-0 sets (bagels) in Grand Slam history, after delivering back-to-back bagels at Wimbledon 2025.

The Serbian achieved this by defeating Dan Evans and Miomir Kecmanovic. Remarkably, like Federer and Nadal, the Serbian has never been baggled in a Grand Slam match before.

Highest number of semi-final appearances in Grand Slams

Novak Djokovic has reached the semi-finals a record 12 times at the Australian Open, 13 at Roland Garros, 13 at the US Open, and in 2025, made his 14th Wimbledon semi-final appearance against Jannik Sinner.

The record holder for the most number of major titles in Open Era history, Djokovic is undoubtedly the best ever to have performed on the grandest stage in tennis history, across different surfaces and conditions.
