ATP Qatar Open 2026: Updated schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

Andrey Rublev is the reigning champion.
The ATP Qatar Open 2026 is set to unfold at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha from February 16 to 21.
Established in 1993, this hard-court event marks a key stop in the Middle East swing following the Australian Open, attracting top talent with a prize pool and ranking points on offer.
The draw, released on February 14, features 32 singles players, including defending champions and rising stars, with qualifying rounds already underway. Notable entrants include World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, and defending champion Andrey Rublev.
As the top seed, Alcaraz enjoys a relatively favourable path. He opens against Arthur Rinderknech, a big-serving Frenchman who’s struggled early in the season, before potentially facing qualifiers or lower-ranked players like Valentin Royer.
A quarter-final matchup could pit him against Karen Khachanov or Jaume Munar, but the real test looms in the semis against possible opponents like Medvedev, Tsitsipas, or Rublev. The Australian Open champion suffered a QF exit last year in Doha and will be looking to make amends.
In contrast, second seed Sinner faces a tougher draw in the fourth quadrant, starting with Tomas Machac, a versatile Czech capable of upsets on quick courts. Subsequent rounds could bring Alexei Popyrin or Jakub Mensik, both dangerous on hard surfaces.
The Italian’s semi-final might involve Alexander Bublik, Arthur Fils, or Jiri Lehecka, all of whom have the tools to challenge his steady all-court style. After his Australian Open semi-final exit to Novak Djokovic, Sinner will aim to regain momentum here. With no points to defend, he will commence his quest for the No. 1 ranking.
The second quadrant highlights Daniil Medvedev’s return, with a potential second-round blockbuster against Stefanos Tsitsipas. Notably Djokovic withdrew from the event citing fatigue, with Jack Draper, Félix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov being the other high-profile absentees.
