Laver Cup 2026 Squads Confirmed: Full line-ups, dates & venue
Casper Ruud has become the latest name to join the Laver Cup 2026.
With Casper Ruud named to Team Europe, the squads for the Laver Cup 2026 are set. The two-time Roland Garros finalist has joined the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cobolli, Jakub Mensik, and Rafael Jodar in the star-studded line-up for the upcoming tournament.
Carlos Alcaraz, who suffered a wrist injury earlier this season, is expected to return ahead of the Laver Cup, as he will be one of the most crucial players in the side’s line-up. Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev, who won his first Grand Slam title earlier this year, will also be expected to win key fixtures for Yannick Noah’s side.
Flavio Cobolli, Jakub Mensik, and Rafael Jodar will be the youngsters carrying the team, adding explosive strength and agility against a top-ranked Team World line-up. Jodar will be the only new name in Team Europe’s line-up, replacing Holger Rune from the last edition.
Meanwhile, Team World includes the top names of Australian ace Alex de Minaur, Ben Shelton, and Taylor Fritz, alongside Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik and American sensation Learner Tien. They will be joined by Tommy Paul, who is most likely to feature in singles and doubles action subsequently.
Andre Agassi’s side has seen four tennis players being changed. Only Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur are the players in the current lineup who were a part of the 2025 Laver Cup. João Fonseca, Alex Michelsen, Reilly Opelka, and Francisco Cerúndolo have been replaced for the upcoming edition.
Team Europe would be looking forward to complete redemption, as they have lost the Laver Cup on three out of the last four occasions. Despite Alcaraz’s stellar efforts in the last editions, Yannick Noah’s side came up short with a disappointing scoreline of 19-21.
The competition is set to be played from September 25 to 27 at The O2 in London.
