ATP Swiss Indoors Basel 2024: Updated schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details
Felix Auger-Aliassime will look to emulate Roger Federer’s three consecutive titles.
The Swiss Indoors Basel 2024 was a happy hunting ground for Roger Federer. The Swiss maestro won 10 titles, ahead of his Wimbledon haul of eight at his home event. Michel Burgener, in 1972, was the first Swiss man to win in Basel, followed by Jakob Hlasek in 1991.
Federer was third and the most prolific Swiss winner at the Swiss Indoors Basel. The former tennis player won 10 titles at the venue over a span of 13 years between 2006 and 2019. Among them were two hauls of three consecutive titles each. The first was between 2006 and 2008 and the second between 2017 and 2019.
The first man to bag multiple titles after Roger Federer is Felix Auger-Aliassime, who has won the past two editions of the Swiss Indoors Basel. This year, he will try to become only the second player in the tournament’s history to win the ATP 500 title three times in a row.
The Canadian will open against Sebastian Baez and could run into second seed Casper Ruud in the last eight. A last-four clash against fourth-seed Holger Rune or the fifth-seed Ugo Humbert looms for the eighth-seed Aliassime. He and Marin Cilic are the two players in the fray this time to have already lifted the trophy before. Cilic won the 2016 edition against Kei Nishikori.

Top seed Andrey Rublev opens against Nuno Borges, followed by a possible last-eight match-up against sixth-seed Ben Shelton, with third-seed Stefanos Tsitsipas waiting in the semi-finals.
Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Santiago Gonzalez won the doubles title last year and will defend their crown as the No. 2 seeds. Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic are the top seeds making their way to Basel fresh from winning the Shanghai Masters title. It is their second ATP 1000 title of the season after Indian Wells.
Rajeev Ram will return as one-half of a doubles pairing with fellow American Austin Krajicek. Ram will be without the services of Joe Salisbury after the pair split last month. Salisbury will play alongside Jean-Julien Rojer in Basel. The Ram and Salisbury duo have won the two previous editions of the ATP Finals.
