ATP Swiss Indoors Basel 2024: Live streaming, TV channel, where and how to watch?

With the 2024 season almost coming to an end, the ATP Swiss Indoors Basel is one of the final 500 tier events of the year. It coincides with the Erste Bank Open which begins and ends on the same day as Basel Open. Both events are the final ATP 500 tournaments of the season as players will be seeking crucial wins to end the season with as many ranking points possible.

It will be the 53rd edition of the Basel Open as it made its ATP tour debut in 1970. Since then former player, Roger Federer has been the most successful with 10 titles. He was the second Swiss player to triumph in the event as Jakob Hlasek became the first in 1991. In the recent editions, Felix Auger- Aliassime has tasted victories in Basel.

The Canadian player is the two-time defending champion in the event. Felix this time is looking to be the first player since Federer to win three successive titles in Basel. He is seeded 21st this year and has a tough draw ahead of him. The top seed is Andrey Rublev and he is expecting to be the first Russian player to lift the trophy in the event.

Rublev will be joined by Holger Rune and Stefanos Tsitsipas as they could pose trouble in the later stages of the event. Casper Ruud and Ben Shelton are also in contention for the title this season. The hardcourts in Basel will favour the heavy hitters as it has done in the past. The competition is intense in Basel even though Rublev and Rudd are the only players from the top ten rankings.

Amongst the men’s doubles, Nikola Mektic/ Wesley Koolhof are seeded first while defending champions Edouard Roger-Vasselin/ Santiago Gonzalez are the second seeds. The men’s doubles also features the only Indian in the fray, Yuki Bhambri. He is playing alongside, Albano Olivetti of France.
