Coco Gauff won the MVP as USA defeated Poland for United Cup crown.

The United Cup 2025 featured stellar performances, with Team USA winning in a gripping final against Poland. Coco Gauff earned MVP honors, showing amazing skills by defeating World No. #2 Iga Swiatek. Her remarkable run translated into $836,950 in earnings which was the highest among all participants.

Taylor Fritz’s victory over Hubert Hurkacz in a three-setter secured the championship for the Americans, mirroring their 2023 success. His consistent performance throughout the tournament earned him $794,150.

Despite finishing as runners-up, Poland’s stars earned substantial rewards. Swiatek collected $556,700, while Hurkacz earned $348,100 for his efforts. Team USA’s victory came with a $61,250 prize purse, compared to Poland’s $35,400.

This victory is Team USA’s second United Cup championship. The United Cup 2025 featureed a substantial $11.17 million prize pool, distributed equally between ATP and WTA competitors.

Players earn based on three key factors: initial ranking-based participation fees, match results, and designated team position (No. 1-3). 

Semifinalists’ prize money breakdown at United Cup 2025

The United Cup 2025 semifinals saw Elena Rybakina leading Kazakhstan’s earnings with $401,200, while Czech Republic’s top performers Karolina Muchova and Tomas Machac each collected $197,400. Kazakhstan will receive $20,150 for their semifinal finish, surpassing the Czech Republic’s $14,550.

Alexander Shevchenko boosted Kazakhstan’s campaign with $197,400 in total earnings. The Czech squad featured varied compensation based on rankings, with Patrik Rikl earning $21,000 and Vendula Valdmannova receiving $6,600.

Mixed doubles success contributed to Zhibek Kulambayeva and Aleksandr Nedovyesov’s earnings of $18,500 and $24,500 respectively. Dmitry Popko, Marek Gengel, and Gabriela Knutson rounded out the prize money distribution with their participation fees.
