The 2024 Wimbledon is scheduled to take place from July 1 to 14.

With the conclusion of the 2024 French Open, the grass season of tennis has begun. Moreover, the ongoing month is important for all tennis stars, as it will help them gain momentum ahead of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships.

The 2024 French Open final was played on June 9, and two ATP 250 grass court events got underway on June 10. Thus, without further ado, let’s take a look at all the events that will take place in the grass season of tennis.

June 10-16: Stuttgart Open, Libema Open, and Rothesay Open

The Stuttgart Open is an ATP 250 event that has already commenced. Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Alexander Bublik, and Frances Tiafoe are the four top seeds in the men’s singles event. Meanwhile, the Libema Open features both ATP and WTA matches. Alex de Minaur has headlined the men’s singles event, while Jessica Pegula has returned to tennis in the women’s singles.

Moreover, the Rothesay Open is also a combined men’s and women’s 250 event where tennis enthusiasts will witness the likes of Ons Jabeur, Marta Kostyuk, Emma Raducanu, Cameron Norrie, and more in action.

June 17–23: Halle Open, Queen’s Club Championships and the Berlin Ladies Open

The second-last week of June is always important in tennis, as it features the only 500 events of the grass season. Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, and more will be in action at Halle, while Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, Taylor Fritz, and other tennis stars will fight for the crown at the Queen’s Championships.

Meanwhile, tennis enthusiasts can expect to see Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and Elena Rybakina in action at the Berlin Ladies Open. Petra Kvitová won the women’s singles event last year, but she’s currently on a pregnancy break from the sport.

June 24-29: Mallorca Open, Eastbourne International and Bad Homburg Open

Three events will be played in the final week before the 2024 Wimbledon. The ATP 250 event, the Mallorca Open, will be played at the Santa Ponsa Tennis Academy in Spain. Ben Shelton, Tomas Machac, and Ugo Humbert are expected to play in the tournament. The Eastbourne International is an ATP 250 and WTA 500 event.

Francisco Cerúndolo and Madison Keys are the defending men’s and women’s singles champions, respectively. Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek played at the WTA 500 Bad Homburg Open last season. Although she had to withdraw from the quarterfinals, fans can expect her to play in Germany.

July 1-14: Wimbledon

The grass season will come to an end with the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. The oldest tennis tournament in history takes place at the prestigious All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. However, the tournament has witnessed numerous underdogs lifting the trophy and top stars failing to make a cut. Carlos Alcaraz and Markéta Vondroušová will be defending their titles in the competition.
