Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are into their second consecutive Wimbledon final.

The Wimbledon 2024 men’s singles final will be taking place today. Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will play a rematch of last year’s final. It will be their sixth ATP Tour meeting and Djokovic currently leads their head-to-head with five wins.

Alcaraz is the defending champion and he took four hours and 42 minutes to lift the title last season. The young Spaniard knows it is a herculean task to overcome Djokovic in a Grand Slam finale. It will be the pair’s second meeting on grass courts.

The 21-year-old is chasing his fourth Grand Slam title while Djokovic could become the first tennis player to win 25 Grand Slams. The Serbian has also played one match less than Alcaraz as he received a walkover in the quarter-finals.
