At the center of the chaos was Dillon Danis, whose presence has long been a magnet for confrontation. He clashed directly with Team Khabib members Magomed Zaynukov, known widely as “John Pork,” and Abubakar Nurmagomedov. In several fan-recorded videos, Zaynukov can be seen landing multiple clean punches on Danis as the melee intensified.

The scuffle lasted over two minutes before order was restored, but the consequences arrived swiftly. By night’s end during the post-fight presser, UFC CEO Dana White announced a lifetime ban against Danis, putting an immediate and definitive end to his presence at UFC events.

“You will never see Dillon Danis at a UFC fight ever again,” said Dana White

Speaking at the post-fight press conference, White placed full responsibility on himself for allowing Danis to sit near fighters and high-profile guests. He revealed that Danis was not only wandering between seats but was intentionally placed only a few rows away from Jorge Masvidal, who had already threatened to confront him.

White admitted he overlooked the most combustible detail, that Islam Makhachev’s entourage, including several Dagestani fighters, was seated in the first few rows.

The moment chaos erupted, White said he recognized exactly what was happening before anyone explained it. His verdict was blunt and final: Danis is banned for life. No appearances, no exceptions, no second chances.

John Pork’s punches highlight a rivalry that never died

This altercation renews tensions dating back to UFC 229, when Khabib Nurmagomedov famously jumped out of the cage toward Danis moments after defeating Conor McGregor.

More than seven years later, the hostility clearly remains, and Zaynukov, a newly signed UFC fighter, made that known by landing punches that rapidly escalated the situation.

For Danis, the consequences could not be more damaging. He has repeatedly insisted the MMA leader avoids signing him because he “brings trouble,” and the scenes at UFC 322 reinforce that narrative in the worst possible way. Danis may thrive in drama, but the UFC has drawn its final line.
