The former Double Champion returned to the UFC after five years.

Conor McGregor returns after five years and a horrific leg injury to take on the former featherweight Champion Max Holloway in his first trip to the octagon since 2021. The return headlines UFC 329 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As expected, the event shattered records before even taking place. Per Dana White, generating approximately $25 million in ticket sales, UFC 329 broke the UFC’s all-time live gate record.

This is a rematch from their first meeting in 2013, when both stars were trying to make a name for themselves in the featherweight division. McGregor won their first encounter via unanimous decision. However, this time the two will meet two weight classes up at Welterweight.
