Drew McIntyre has been the talk of the town. As, many have questions about whether Drew McIntyre has left WWE? So, for everybody’s ease Drew McIntyre hasn’t left WWE yet. McIntyre couldn’t win the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther during the second night of WrestleMania 39 on April 2, in a highly lauded triple threat match that included Sheamus. The encounter was scored five stars by renowned professional wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, marking McIntyre's first bout to get such a rating.
Also, with such an incredible performance it won’t be likely McIntyre leaving WWE. But recently it was reported that Drew McIntyre is not happy with WWE. McIntyre was "physically beat up" following his Intercontinental championship Triple Threat with Sheamus and Gunther at WrestleMania 39 last weekend, according to a recent PW Torch report. Keller, though, believes that this is only part of the issue with the 37-year-old two-time WWE champion.
While the company was in Southern California for WrestleMania, rumours arose that McIntyre is in the final year of his current WWE contract and that the two parties aren't close to a deal. Keller's sources offered the following details about the negotiations:
Drew McIntyre’s got a lot of time in WWE
Drew's contract, according to sources over the weekend, has plenty of time left on it. Whether this is right or not, Keller believes we will find more about McIntyre's future soon, saying that the "situation will probably, based on what I'm hearing, be decided pretty quickly one way or the other."
We've heard from a number of wrestlers that are unhappy with WWE creative, and McIntyre is the second who has worked in the main event scenario and feels the company undervalues them financially. WWE is unlikely to want to put a lot of money on the books while the Endeavour transaction is still in the process. It'll be interesting to see how Vince McMahon gets along with his former Chosen One.
Drew McIntyre blacked out his Twitter handle
The former Intercontinental Champion have not graced with his appearance on TV since Wrestlemania 39, and his social media behaviour has prompted questions about his future with WWE. McIntyre has deleted his profile image from Twitter, as well as all WWE references from his bio. McIntyre has hinted at quitting WWE, and fans are now waiting for a formal statement from him. Drew McIntyre has not left WWE unless he says something or an official report comes out.
