The Tribal Chief and Solo Sikoa will take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship

After a long break from television, Roman Reigns returned to the ring on the last week episode of SmackDown. Roman Reigns along with other Bloodline members- Solo Sikoa, Jimmy & Jey Uso and Paul Heyman came to the ring and dropped a major bombshell for WWE Night of Champions.

He appreciated Solo Sikoa’s contributions for The Bloodline and his efforts to gain respect for their family. He then addressed The Usos for their failure to capture the Undisputed Tag Team Championship and demanded them apologize for making him upset and for disrespecting The Bloodline. Roman pushed Jimmy for not apologizing, Jimmy was pissed off but Jey stopped him and apologized to Roman. Jey demanded one last rematch for the Tag Titles and assured him to get the titles back to The Bloodline.

Roman Reigns replied to him that the Tag titles will somehow come back to The Bloodline. Paul Heyman then announced that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will lose the Undisputed Tag Team Championship at the Night of Championship against Solo Sikoa and “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, this made a huge shock among The Usos and WWE fans.

What’s the Rule Break?

While “The Tribal Chief” is all set for a Tag Team Championship match at Night of Champions, the premium live event will miss a major title match. As he challenged for the Tag Team Championship, he will not be defending his Undisputed Universal Championship at the premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi.

Roman Reigns can defend his championship in another match at the event, but the chances of him wrestling twice in a day is very low. WWE has a traditional rule of defending every single championship of the company at the Night (Clash) of Champions event. But, WWE had broken their traditional rule for Roman Reigns, by making him not defend his championship to facilitate The Big Uce and his storyline.

One may think that Roman Reigns will defend his championships on the 1000th day of his reign, but the case is completely different now, as the storyline is heading towards a new direction.
