What should fans expect from WWE Money in the Bank 2023?
The MITB is one of the most celebrated PPV by WWE fans
WWE Money in the Bank 2023, is one of the most anticipated WWE PPVs. It is set to take place in London. There are going to be many promising matches that can be of the greatest push the superstars could get due to the PPV.
Six superstars from each category will compete in the Money in the Bank ladder matches for men and women, competing for a chance to win any championship at any time by winning the coveted briefcase. But with Logan Paul coming as a special entrant for Money in the Bank 2023, it is seven in men and 6 in women. Let's look at the specifics of this year's event, which will take place in London's O2 Arena.
Money in the Bank 2023 announced match card
- Bloodline Civil War: Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa (with Paul Heyman) vs The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso)
- Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Ricochet vs L.A. Knight vs Butch vs Santos Escobar vs Damian Priest vs Logan Paul
- Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match: Zelina Vega vs Becky Lynch vs Zoey Stark vs Bayley vs IYO SKY vs Trish Stratus
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs Finn Balor
- Cody Rhodes vs Dominik Mysterio (with Rhea Ripley)
- WWE Undisputed Women's Tag Team Championship: Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler (c) vs Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez
Bloodline Civil War: Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa (with Paul Heyman) vs The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso)
On the Last to last week of SmackDown, we saw Jey and Jimmy Uso separating their ways from the Bloodline, super-kicking Roman Reigns, and breaking up the Bloodline. The Bloodline Civil War will be one of the most anticipated bouts at WWE Money in the Bank now that the battle lines have been established and a confrontation between them has been scheduled. When the broken family begins the intensely personal effort to gain the upper hand in their collision course towards July 1, anything may and will happen. However, we also have our own projections.
What I feel is The Usos will win by pinning Solo Siko, which will end in Solo Sikoa betraying Roman Reigns and which would end the Bloodline as a whole. If this happens then WWE would come to an end The Bloodline storyline, after almost 3 years of dominating the storyline.
Predicted Winner: The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso)
Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Ricochet vs L.A. Knight vs Butch vs Santos Escobar vs Damian Priest vs Logan Paul
6 men were set to face in the Money in the Bank 2023 match, but Logan Paul to everyone's surprise hijacks WWE Monday Night RAW and gets his place to fight for the coveted briefcase. Before it was predicted a lot that LA Knight would be picking up the win. But, we would go with Logan Paul as the winner of Men's Money in the Bank 2023, as it is a surprise element and WWE loves to surprise its audience.
Predicted Winner: Logan Paul
Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match: Zelina Vega vs Becky Lynch vs Zoey Stark vs Bayley vs IYO SKY vs Trish Stratus
This is going to be one of the best Money in the Bank ladder matches as we would be seeing the rivalry of Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, and Zoey Stark in action. Also, there is a high probability that Zoey Stark might betray Becky Lynch, but from a storyline perspective, it doesn't seem to be logical. Reports came that Bayley might not be part of Money in the Bank, but for now, she is going to be part of it. With tensions rising between Iyo Sky and Bayley, it would be interesting to see which of the women gets their hands on the coveted briefcase. Our bet is on IYO Sky as WWE has been planning to give Sky a huge push, and what can be better than giving her the Women's Money in the Bank.
Winner: IYO Sky
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs Finn Balor
If it was up to me, then Balor would have been the champion as he deserves all of it, the man is 40+, but Seth Rollins deserves to be the champion. With him recently winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, WWE wouldn't want to change hands, but there is a huge possibility that the MITB winner, cashes in and spoils Seth Rollins, win as it would be a throwback to what happened with Rollins when he beat Roman Reigns for WWE Championship but the Money in the Bank winner then, Dean Ambrose cashes in to spoil his win.
Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins
