Over the years, there have been a number of babyfaces and heels in WWE. The rivalry between the babyfaces and heels have always been the tradition of the company and it has always worked for them. In the past, the baby faces were the ones who ruled the company, whereas now the heel wrestlers have gotten better and they run the business by dominating the babyfaces. Here is our list of the top five best heels in the WWE current.

5. Dominik Mysterio

Believe it or not, Dominik Mysterio is one of the best heel wrestlers in WWE at present. Dominik was considered as an inexperienced rookie under the shadow of his father, however the perception took a turn after he betrayed his own father and joined The Judgement Day.

Dom’s heel turn has evolved him a lot where he started mirroring Eddie’s ‘Latino Heat’ gimmick, he enhanced his wrestling skills, turned his losing streak to the winning path, and made him become a single’s champion. His heel persona peaked when he started pairing with Rhea Ripley, who helped him win matches and evolve into a greater heel. At present the 26-year-old is the most hated WWE Superstar of the current roster and the most hated heel of the company, thereby earning the fifth spot in our list.

4. Austin Theory

Austin Theory is one of the cockiest heels of the current roster. Theory entered the main roster as a heel by attacking Jeff Hardy. His alliance with McMahon has made him achieve success too soon despite his inexperience. McMahon saw him as the future face of the company, which made Theory think himself as the John Cena of this generation, which made fans frustrated and hate him the most. Theory is completely opposite to Cena as he never uses the right way for the win, instead uses cheap tricks to win his opponents.

3. Gunther

The Mighty Austrian has been ruling the company since his main roster debut. Gunther is a dictator who punishes his opponents ruthlessly without showing mercy. He is known for his in-ring dominance and powerful chops. Although Gunther is a heel, he never uses cheap tricks to win against his opponents. All he does is humiliate the baby faces of the company by overpowering them. He stood undefeated in the main roster for over a year and is the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of the current generation.

2. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns WWE
Roman Reigns has been the top heel of the company for the past three years

The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns has been the top heel of the company for the past three years. He is one of the influential heels of the company. Roman, with the advice of Paul Heyman, uses his cousin’s help to retain his championships on multiple occasions for the past three years. He does all kinds of manipulation on his cousins to overcome his opponents. His heel persona had taken him to a place where he is considered one of the GOAT of the business. His mind games, cheap tricks, manipulation and accomplishments has made him to the second spot in our list.

1. Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley is the most dominant women’s wrestler of the current roster. Since joining The Judgement Day, Rhea became the top heel of the women’s division. Mami! uses her strength and physique as her advantage that she literally brutalizes her opponents with ease. She is the reigning World Women’s Champion where every woman who steps against her for the championship is in rehabilitation.

She is not only a threat to the women’s division but also a threat to the Men’s division. Rhea interferes in almost every match in which the Judgement Day involves and dominates the opponent male wrestlers. Her on-screen pairing with Dom has made him the North American Champion as she attacked the former champion to make Dom win. The whole success of the Judgement Day relies completely on the Eradicator herself, which makes her the top heel of the current WWE roster.
