The ring is set, and fans are all geared up for “The Biggest Party of the Summer” – WWE SummerSlam 2023. The high-octane Premium LIVE Event of WWE promises an adrenaline-fueled spectacle that wrestling fans cannot afford to miss. The 36th annual edition of the mega event will be telecast LIVE on Sony Sports Ten 1, Sony Sports Ten 3 (Hindi) & Sony Sports Ten 4 (Tamil & Telugu) channels. The event will also be live-streamed on SPN’s on-demand OTT platform SonyLIV.

The mega event will be preceded by a one-hour special show – WWE Specials – SummerSlam 2023 Kick Off from 4:30 am IST. Sony Sports Network will also bring back its signature show for Premium Live Events of WWE – Extraaa Dhamaal – SummerSlam that will feature WWE Hall of Famer – “X-Pac” who will discuss the exciting results of the event.

Reigniting rivalries, family feuds and ground-breaking encounters, the event is set to deliver a series of epic matchups that will etch their stories into the annals of WWE history. The headline duel sees the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns defending his undisputed WWE Universal Championship against his own blood, Jey Uso, following Reigns’ first pinfall defeat in over three and a half years at WWE Money in the Bank 2023.

Meanwhile, Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Finn Balor’s ongoing feud sees a tantalizing World Heavyweight Championship bout, with Balor hungry for vengeance and to reclaim his long-lost title. Additionally, the Women’s Championship sees a thrilling Triple Threat Match as Asuka defends her title against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair, along with the imminent threat of Ms. Money in the bank – IYO SKY cashing in her contract, lurking around.

The match card also has in place some interesting matchups including Gunther vs Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship, Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar, and Ronda Rousey vs Shayna Baszler.

In an exciting turn of events, WWE has also announced a monumental SummerSlam Battle Royal presented by Slim Jim. WWE Superstars from both RAW & Smackdown with compete against each other, such as LA Knight and Sheamus already confirmed for the match. A free-for-all match will have a competitor eliminated when they are thrown over the top rope and both their feet hit the ringside floor. Tune in to witness these highly anticipated matchups, where grit, prowess, and personal vendettas will collide in an unforgettable showdown.
