WWE has major plans for Kevin Owens in 2024: Reports

Kevin Owens is one of the veterans of the wrestling industry and has been on the top cards, though he is away from the world championship spotlight. Owens has had a great year so far with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship reign teaming up with Sami Zayn, however they lost the championships most recently at Payback. As Owens and Zayn are struggling to battle against The Judgment Day, a recent report speculates major plans for Kevin Owens in 2024.

Kevin Owens & Dominik Mysterio plans for 2024

According to BWE's report, WWE has plans for both Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio in 2024. In recent times Dominik Mysterio has been receiving major heel reactions from the WWE Universe, WWE realizes it and plans for a big year for him. 

On the other hand, Kevin Owens was in the Tag Team division and hasn't had a singles championship in recent years. As reported by Owens before he has only a year and a half left in his current WWE contract. Owens also said that what's next for him is uncertain. So his push in the upcoming year might be one of the reasons to make him sign yet another deal with the company.

The report is however unclear as there is no information on whether they will work together for an event in a match or will have a separate push.

Speculations

Since Owens has been away from singles championships for so long, his push in 2024 might place him under the championship spotlight probably as a World Champion. Or the scrapped plan might be executed making him pick up feud with CM Punk and headlining WrestleMania Day 1.

On the other hand, Dominik has been a great heel without any major championship in the main roster, he would be going after a major championship or a great storyline. Dom might become face once again in the upcoming year and leave The Judgment Day.
