WWE teases The Undertaker will appear at 10/10 NXT
When AEW was launched in 2019, the Dynamite competed with WWE NXT on the Wednesdays, however after consecutive defeats in the viewership, NXT was moved to Teusdays. As AEW is hosting the AEW Dynamite special “Title Tuesday”, WWE are looking to counter and win the battle. To which WWE has booked some huge names for the October 10, 2023 episode of NXT, including “The Goat” John Cena, “Vice Man” Paul Heyman, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka and many more.
On the other hand, AEW has booked the debut match of the “Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland (fka Edge). However it is now teased by WWE that The “Phenom” Undertaker will appear on NXT to have the clear win for the NXT.
PWInsider on Undertaker return
PWInsider previously reported that there is a word around the WWE Performance Center for the past two days that The Undertaker will be on WWE Performance Center next week in Orlando, Florida including WWE NXT. However they are not confirmed about his television appearance.
PWInsider on their report,
“While there is no word yet as to whether he will appear on camera, the word around the WWE Performance Center yesterday and today has been that The Undertaker will be in Orlando, Florida next week, including Tuesday when WWE NXT has loaded up a big episode to go against the Tuesday Night AEW Dynamite broadcast on TBS.
Again, this doesn't mean Undertaker will be appearing, but certainly he has to be considered another arrow in WWE's quiver if they choose to go that route.
Undertaker visits from time to time to give advice to PC talents, so this could simply be that, but the timing, obviously, is interesting.”

On the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE endorsed the video package of the October 10 episode of NXT. Where John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Paul Heyman & Asuka was on the list, but the promo ended with the dong sound of The Undertaker’s entrance theme. Which confirms The Undertaker's appearance on NXT for the very first time,
The Undertaker's last television appearance was in January 2023 on Raw XXX, where he shared the ring with Bray Wyatt & LA Knight. Will The Greatest NXT of All time with the appearance of GOAT's and top stars overthrew AEW ratings? It seems like a sure win for AEW, however we need to wait and watch until next Tuesday.
