Cody Rhodes hints at 5-on-5 WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series 2023

Cody Rhodes dropped yet another hint of adding the fifth member on their WarGames Team and make it a 5-on-5 WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2023.

During Crown Jewel PLE 2023, WWE announced that it will continue with War Games matches for the Survivor Series 2023 in Rosemont, Illinois. On the following episode of Raw, during the final moments, Judgment Day attacked Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins, where Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes joined and made it a big brawl ringside. 

Adam Pearce came with a bunch of securities and WWE officials to hold the brawl and asked them to settle their rivalry in the War Games match. Where Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso will take on Judgment Day (Damien Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh).

In the latest episode of Raw, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso faced Damien Priest and Finn Balor for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship title. Where Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and other members of the Judgment Day including JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley are banned from ringside.

In the final moments of Raw, Drew McIntyre appeared on the ringside and hit a claymore on Jey Uso, when the referee was distracted to cost the championship for Jey and Cody. After making the Judgment Day retain the championship, Drew McIntyre shook hands with Rhea Ripley. McIntyre has almost confirmed his alliance with Judgment Day by tweeting “Daddy’s home” on X.

Following the attack, when Raw ran out of television time, Cody Rhodes hinted at bringing his friend to counter McIntyre stating “Well, spoiler alert, Jey Uso and I have friends too.” Now Cody has hinted of having a fifth member on their team.

Cody Rhodes teases 5-on-5 WarGames Match

Cody Rhodes on X retweeted a picture of their WarGames team who were in the Marvel characters, Cody Rhodes was in the middle as Captain America, Seth Rollins as Loki, Sami Zayn as Doctor Strange and Jey Uso as Black Panther. Cody shared it with a caption, “Seems like we need one more” mentioning WWE.

This week on Raw, one member from both the teams will go head to head to determine who has the WarGames advantage. Various backstage reports suggest right from the announcement of the WarGames match that the War Games match will be 5-on-5 as last year’s WarGames also was held in the same way. Will WWE hear Cody’s words and prove that the backstage reports are true?

If the WarGames Match become 5-on-5, Drew McIntyre would definitely join Team Judgment Day, but who could join the team of Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso.
