Cody Rhodes hints at Randy Orton's return for WWE Survivor Series War Games

On the most recent episode of Raw, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso faced Damien Priest and Finn Balor for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship title. Where Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and other members of the Judgment Day including JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley are banned from ringside. At the final moments of Raw, Drew McIntyre appeared on the ringside and hit a claymore on Jey Uso, when the referee was distracted to cost the championship for Jey and Cody.
After making the Judgment Day retain the championship, Drew McIntyre stood on the entrance ramp and gave a handshake to Rhea Ripley. This indicates that Drew McIntyre is aligning himself with the Judgment Day. As it was previously reported, War Games is a 5-on-5 match and Drew McIntyre will likely join Team Judgment Day. If Drew joins Judgment Day, who will be the fifth member of Team Cody Rhodes? For this question, Cody Rhodes himself has dropped a major hint after Raw went off air.
Cody drops Randy Orton’s return spoiler
An exclusive video of Cody Rhodes is going viral on the internet especially on X, where Cody Rhodes has a mic in his hands and dropped a spoiler. Rhodes says, “Well, spoiler alert, Jey Uso and I have friends too.” When Rhodes dropped his words from the mouth the WWE Universe in Washington D.C started chanting Randy Orton’s name.
It was previously reported that Randy Orton is expected to return at Survivor Series and possibly feature in the War Games as the fifth member of the babyfaces team.
Last time when Orton seen in television was back on May 20, 2022 episode of SmackDown, where RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Matt Riddle) defended their Raw Tag Team Championship against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) in a championship unification match.
During the match, Orton injured his back and RK-Bro eventually lost their Tag Team Championship. Orton got back fusion surgery and had a long rehabilitation period. He was spotted at WWE Performance Center in late August and was reported that he will be returning within this year.
It is important to note that both Jey Uso and the Tag Team Championships were a part of Orton’s last match before injury and both are somewhere related to this match. Jey will be on his own side and Tag Team champions will be on the other side.
