Cody Rhodes not sure if he would paint his face for WWE Survivor Series WarGames
Cody Rhodes will be entering the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series by teaming up with Jey Uso, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn to take on Dominik Mysterio, Damien Priest, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day. This is the second War Games match to be held in the main roster. However, WarGames matches have been held since 1987 across various promotions where wrestlers paint their faces. Ahead of the Survivor Series WarGames match, Cody Rhodes spoke about whether he would paint his face or not.
Cody Rhodes on painting his face for WarGames
‘American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes recently appeared for an interview with Gabby on Gabby AF, where Cody Was asked about whether he would paint his face similar to the wargames poster. To which Cody replied that his gear, painting his face, his PSTD problem and his team coming up with something cohesive.
“I think as far as gear goes, I kind of let Sandra, Sandra kind of just does her thing now. We’ve grown so much that the American Nightmare aspect of it…we have brand guidelines now. ‘Hey, the shoulder scales have to be there.’ She’s got this list of things she knows she had to hit, but then she has a lot of fun. I believe she probably will do something linked to the poster.
I don’t know if we’re painting up camo-wise our faces, just because I still have terrible PTSD from when I used to paint my face, but I’d like to see our team kind of do something cohesive. That would be fun, even if it’s our own way of being cohesive, but we’ll see.
We might show up looking dramatically different, whereas The Judgment Day is a fully functioning group of friends, they are legit friends, which is crazy. So we’ve got our work cut out for us,”
WWE confirms yet another WarGames match on SmackDown, but this time for the women’s where Team Damage CTRL will take on Team Belair. Are you excited for the Survivor Series War Games match?
