John Cena undergoes second arm surgery after recent WWE run

John Cena returned to WWE after a long time in September 2023 and had a comparatively long run in the last six years. He has been on television for seven weeks straight, primarily appearing on the Friday nights on SmackDown. On this latest run, Cena had a pretty entertaining storyline and was involved in a versatile role.
He hosted Payback pay-per-view for the very first time, was a special guest referee, had a first ever match in India, brought back Make-A-Wish charity works to life, had a rivalry with The Bloodline, wrestled in two pay-per-views (Fastlane & Crown Jewel) and even teased of getting retired.
He reported that he would leave the company after the SAG-AFTRA came to an end and left after his match with Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel, where he was brutally assaulted by Solo with the Samoan Spike. Cena left WWE after the match and the strike came to an end. It was reported that Cena had a couple of surgeries after his latest run in WWE.
John Cena’s injury
Five days after Cena left WWE, he wrote on X (fka twitter) thanking his surgeon and the entire team in Birmingham for fixing his arm. He said that he is clean and is headed for therapy and still has another arm to get fixed as soon as possible.
Cena after first arm surgery wrote,
“Thank you @JeffDugasMD and your entire team in Birmingham! One arm fixed, clean & headed for therapy … one arm left to go! Thank you again and see you ASAP for the next one!!”
Earlier today, Cena again thanked his surgeon and the whole team for fixing his arms after two successful surgeries. He praised the medical team and hospitality for fixing his arms and added a picture of him with the surgeon in the hospital bed.
“Thank you for the autograph, @JeffDugasMD! So very grateful to him and his whole team for two successful surgeries. A world-class facility that has me ready to seize the day… with two repaired arms!”
We wish the Champ a speedy recovery and complete his ongoing projects and return back to WWE for some left over business to handle.
