WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023: Potential heel & face turns to watch out for

WWE Survivor Series WarGames is less thana few hours away and is all set to be held from Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. WWE has booked some of the exciting matches for the show including two WarGames matches, two championship matches and one grudge match. As the show already carries huge anticipation, here are some of the possible heel and face turns to watch out for.

Heel: Randy Orton

Randy Orton is all set to return at Survivor Series WarGames after eighteen months of hiatus. He is announced as the fifth member of the team of Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso for the Men’s WarGames match. Last time when we saw Orton on television, he was a babyface teamed up with Matt Riddle. However he might turn heel upon return and attack Jey Uso during or after the match as a result of vengeance. Jey and Randy had a great feud before his hiatus and he was the one who attacked Orton to injury. As Jey already turned face, it is the right time for Orton to turn heel.

Face: Damian Priest

Damian Priest entered the main roster as a face, but got turned into heel after joining the Judgment Day. He has been struggling to cash-in his Money in the Bank and has had issues with Finn Balor and JD McDonagh before. At WarGames, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio might kick Damian Priest and would cost his MITB cash-in. Which might make Priest turn babyface after two long years.

Heel: Joaquin Wilde and Cruze Del Toro (w/ Zelina Vega)

Santos Escobar turned against his mentor and idol Rey Mysterio, thereby establishing himself as a heel. Last week, Escobar continued his dis-hearted attack both verbally and physically against other LWO members, as they stood by Carlito’s side. At Survivor Series, Escobr will go one-on-one with Carlito, where Wilde and Del Toro with Zelina Vega might move back to Santos Escobar after Rey went on hiatus, and unable to accept Carlito as the leader of the stable. Wilde and Del Toro might turn against Carlito and re-establish Legado del Fantasma.

Face: Bayley

Bayley has been heel for so long and has a history of turning his back on her teammates. Her acts were suspicious after IYO SKY became WWE Women’s Champion and also has teased of turning against her for the title. But with the alignment of fellow Japanese wrestlers Asuka, and Kairi Sane, Bayley seems like an odd one in the crew. Bayley might be kicked out of the stable and the Damage CTRL will be acquired by Kabuki Warriors. Following the attack, Bayley might turn face for the first time in five years.
