Top five things CM Punk can do on WWE Monday Night Raw
CM Punk officially made his WWE return last Saturday at Survivor Series: WarGames. Following his comeback, WWE announced that he will be appearing on this week’s (November 27, 2023) episode of Monday Night Raw at Nashville, Tennessee. This is his first appearance in Raw in almost 10 years and is expected to have a huge crowd reaction there too. However, what could CM Punk do at WWE Raw? We have come up with five probable things that CM Punk could do at Raw.
5. Kick-off Raw with a seated promo
CM Punk would most probably kick-off Monday Night Raw with a great pop and “CM Punk” chant and would have his signature seated promo. He would address the WWE Universe, and share his expression of how he missed them and the company for so long. He might speak about what drives him to be back and what’s next for him down the road.
4. Confrontation with Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura could confront CM Punk or might have a blind attack on him, stating that Punk was the one to whom he was waiting for so long. As they fight against each other, CM Punk might deliver a GTS and challenge him for a match next week.
3. Cody Rhodes welcomes CM Punk to Raw
Cody Rhodes has been the one who gives important announcements other than the WWE officials. He might kick-off Raw and could introduce the newest member of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk. Both share a kind of similar journey from departure to AEW and back to WWE.
They both could have a segment together in Raw and possibly have a tag team match against the people who confront them. Cody is against hatred and always has a backup on wrestlers who are surrounded by enemies, as Punk’s return might have a lot of hate in the locker room, he might defend him by having his back.
2. Judgment Day could try to recruit CM Punk
Judgment Day might confront CM Punk and kind-of try to make a statement that Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw and ask him to join the team as they always have their hands open to recruit. Punk got all that it takes to join The Judgment Day like the tattoos and piercings.
It is notable that Punk had a heel stable of ‘Straight Edge Society’ and ‘New Nexus’, this might be yet another one for him. But Punk could decline their offer and verbally slam them through the microphone.
1. Heated segment with Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins showed his anger on CM Punk’s return after Survivor Series went off the air. CM Punk could play the video of that during his segment and call out Seth Rollins to the ring. Where Rollins and Punk could throw punches on each other and result in a huge brawl. Their feud could be hyped for the next few weeks and Punk could potentially have a World Heavyweight title shot on Rollins.
