Finn Balor & Damian Priest could lose Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles due to betrayal by Judgment Day member
Finn Balor and Damien Priest are in their second reign of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions and currently have more gold than the other members of the Judgment Day. They became the tag team champs for the first time by defeating Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at Payback in a Street Fight match with the help of fellow Judgment Day members. They lost it to Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso and got back the championship from them weeks later.
The addition of championships had solved a lot of problems within the Judgment Day like problems between Damian Priest and Finn Balor, JD McDonagh’s addition, Rhea Ripley’s frustration and so on. However based on last week’s backstage segment it seems like they are losing their unity slowly. As Balor and Priest were about to defend their tag team titles against Creed Brothers next week on Raw, a Judgment Day member could turn on them and cost them their titles.
Dominik Mysterio to betray Finn Balor & Damian Priest
“Dirty” Dom could turn on Finn Balor and Damian Priest as a frustration of losing his NXT North American Championship, as no Judgment Day members stood on his back. Dominik shouted in irate backstage following his loss said,
“You all saw what happened to me out there. I am the greatest NXT North American Champion that’s ever been. Dragon Lee, my deadbeat dad? Where’s Judgment Day? Where’s Finn, where’s Damian, JD, Mami? You know what, I’m gonna go home to Mami because The Judgment Day runs all and this shouldn’t be happening.”
This is not the first time this is happening to Dom. He already lost his title to Trick Williams before at No Mercy as there were no Judgment Day members on his side.
Following this, it is speculated that Dominik might turn on Priest and Balor and make them lose their title to initiate the potential split of Judgment Day. Priest could be the one to be affected by this as he never had good terms with other members of the Judgment Day in recent times.
Do you think this could potentially happen next week on Raw? Or Judgment Day still has something left to sort out between them and run all of WWE? Share your thoughts in the comments.
