MJF spotted with John Cena & other WWE stars at The Iron Claw Premiere

The Von Erichs is a legendary wrestling family who has been in the wrestling industry since 1920’s amd across three generations. “The Iron Claw” is a 2023 biography film of the wrestler Kevin Von Erich and the Von Erich family. Kevin Von Erich is a second generational wrestler and the second son of Fritz Von Erich. The show priemiere got released on Monday and invited a lot of wrestlers for the show, where WWE and AEW stars met each other.

MJF met John Cena

“The Iron Claw” movie premiere got released this Monday, where a number of WWE and AEW stars appeared to watch the film. Where the AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) met the 16-time WWE world champion John Cena. They both posed for a picture together and had a quick chat. Chris Van Vliet shared a video of them having a meaningful conversation between them.

This is not the first time he is meeting Cena, they already met at a movie set and when Friedman participated in the WWE Tough Enough.

MJF is a huge John Cena fan

It is clear that Friedman is a huge John Cena fan as he revealed in a previous interview in the Wrestling with Freddie podcast.

MJF said,

“And the thing is, Roddy Piper – one of my all-time favorites outside of John Cena. Love John to death. You know John? (MJF asks Freddie Prinze Jr.) But the thing you have to understand is that’s the price of greatness. You’re not always going to get along with people, that’s why me and John got along so well the one time I met up with him when I did extra work,”

Friedman not only met Cena but also ‘The Lone Wolf’ Baron Carbon and other stars. After meeting WWE wrestlers it is rumored that MJF could probably be signing with WWE as his contract being expired in January 2024 and he already spoke about his interest to join the company.
