Bron Breakker & Naomi to SmackDown; Andrade & Jade Cargill to join WWE Raw

WWE held its first premium live event of 2024, Royal Rumble. The PLE was filled with a lot of good matches, moments and surprise elements, especially in the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches. It witnessed the return of Naomi, Liv Morgan, the debut of Jade Cargill and special appearance of TNA Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace, NXT Star Roxxane Perez and Tiffany Stratton.

The Men’s rumble match featured the returning Andrade and Omos and the appearance of Bron Breakker. All the surprise entrants made such a huge impact that the latest reports suggest that four of them will be assigned with the main roster brand contract.

Andrade to Raw

Andrade appeared on Raw during a backstage segment with Adam Pearce where he signed a Raw contract and became exclusive for the red brand. Aldis said that he should have waited for him as he might come with good compensation. However the deal was made, and Andrade told Aldis to say Hello to Zelina Vega (Andrade’s manager).

Bron Breakker to WWE SmackDown

Bron Breakker made a huge impact at the Royal Rumble match by eliminating four other main roster top stars. There was a huge expectation and appreciation to Breakker as he perfectly replaced Brock Lesnar. Breakker on backstage interview after Royal Rumble also spoke that he is comfortable with the main roster and it is his home now.

With that being said, Nick Aldis who appeared on Raw, said that he doesn’t worry about Andrade being signed to Raw. However, he got a call from Bron Breakker and went to speak with him. It is believed that Breakker would be signing to SmackDown to counter Andrade’s contract.

Naomi to SmackDown

Naomi made her WWE return at the Women’s Royal Rumble by entering at #2 and lasted over 1 hour 1 minutes to break Rhea Ripley’s record. However got eliminated by Jade Cargill. Fightful Select reported that Naomi is expected to make her presence felt on the SmackDown brand.

Jade Cargill to Raw

Jade Cargill made her WWE in-ring debut at the Women’s Royal Rumble match entering at #28. She had a great debut and received a great reception. Cargill was impressive in the ring that she went on to eliminate some of the top stars of the company, including Nia Jax, Becky Lynch and Naomi. As Cargill made her debut she is yet to become brand exclusive. However backstage reports and sources believe that Cargill will be signed to Raw.
