Could CM Punk host WWE WrestleMania 40 after his injury?

CM Punk made his WWE in-ring television return at WWE Royal Rumble by entering the men’s Royal Rumble match. Punk entered at #27 and was one of the favourites to win the match and headline WrestleMania 40. Punk delivered a tough fight in the final few minutes however came out short by becoming the runner-up.
Following the loss, Punk kicked-off Raw and announced that he tore his right tricep muscle at the Royal Rumble match and was advised not to wrestle for a long time. CM Punk himself had reported that he could not make it to WrestleMania. Since Punk could not be able to wrestle at WrestleMania, a wholesome idea from the fan could make Punk still make it to WrestleMania 40.
CM Punk to host WrestleMania 40?
CM Punk could still make it at WrestleMania if he becomes the host of WrestleMania 40. This could make a huge impact in WWE and still continue his storyline in a different position. WWE announcing CM Punk as the WrestleMania 40 host at the March 25th episode of Monday Night Raw at Allstate Arena in Chicago, which is Punk’s hometown, could bring absolute goosebumps among the WWE Universe.
In the past, a number of WWE Superstars had hosted WrestleMania including The Miz, Alexa Bliss, New Day, The Rock and others. If he’s not hosting the WrestleMania, he could at least be a special guest commentator as WWE have released Kevin Patrick and there is a vacancy in the commentary desk.
Punk is one who is known for talking and has also been in the commentary desk for MMA and occasionally in WWE. Previously Samoa Joe, who suffered from an injury, worked on the commentary desk as a regular commentator.
