Kevin Owens wrestled Logan Paul at WWE Royal Rumble with major injury
Logan Paul announced a United States Title tournament on the road to Survivor Series where he announced eight competitors including Kevin Owens. However, before entering the tournament Austin Theory and Grayson Waller broke his right hand.
However, Owens managed to fight with the broken hand with the support of the cast. Owens went on to defeat Austin Theory in the first match, Carmelo Hayes in the semi finals and Santos Escobar in the finals to get the United States Championship match against Logan Paul.
Maverick asked Owens to get rid of the cast as it was his hidden weapon to progress. Owens agreed to it and wrestled with the injured hand at Royal Rumble. Owens countered Logan Paul’s cheap trick and used it against him to lose the match by Disqualification.
However, he buried Logan Paul in half by post match attack. It is known that Owens wrestled Paul with a broken hand, however latest reports suggest that he also wrestled with a major injury.
Kevin Owens’ injury update

However he managed to work for the match with Logan Paul and delivered a tough fight. It was reported that the injury he suffered was during the tournament finals with Santos Escobar.
Although Owens showed up every week and was involved in physical segments, his match with Logan Paul was his first match post surgery.
Following that Sean Ross Sapp has verified that the report was right and that’s why he appeared for the promo on the PC the next week at SmackDown.
