Last year, 2023 was a great year for professional wrestling and especially for WWE. The company had a lot of changes in management and ownership, and with that, it broke a number of records with successful shows. As the new year begins and the company heading towards a new direction, here are our predictions of what could possibly happen in 2024.

WWE in 2024: Predictions

Gunther will be dethroned

Gunther has been dominating the company since his debut and had a successful championship reign as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion and with an undefeated streak (by pinfall or submission). However, 2024 could be the year where Gunther will be dethroned most possibly at WrestleMania 40.

Roman Reigns will lose the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, is ruling the company as one of the dominant forces with his Bloodline members. He lost his undefeated streak last year, but in 2024 we were able to see Reigns being dethroned from the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship reign, possibly at WrestleMania 40.

Solo Sikoa will win first singles title on the main roster

Solo Sikoa is one of the youngest and dominant wrestlers in the company, who has been aligned with his Cousin Roman Reigns in the Bloodline and feuding with top stars of the company. However, he never won a championship in the main roster. Solo in 2024 will raise up his standards and will win a singles championship.

Bayley will win WWE Women’s Championship

Bayley has been struggling in 2023, where her match statistics clearly show her situation. This year could be the year of Bayley as she would finish what she started by ending Damage CTRL, turning face and winning the WWE Women’s Championship.

Jade Cargill debut

Jade Cargill signed to WWE in September and has been in rigorous training sessions for a long time. She will be making her debut this year, most probably by Royal Rumble 2024 and will play a major role in the women’s division.

Cody Rhodes will finish his story

Ever since Cody Rhodes returned to the company in 2022, he has been attempting to finish his story of becoming a world champion, however was diverted by a number of obstacles. Cody Rhodes would likely end the story this year by becoming the World Champion, most probably by defeating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The Judgment Day will be disbanded

Judgment Day has been running all of WWE with the most dominant wrestlers in the stable. Although being very successful in 2023, they always had a change of opinions and misunderstandings. The minor gaps between them would finally develop and it would possibly disband Judgment Day in 2024. The main reason for the disbanding will possibly be the misunderstanding between Priest and Balor.

Tag Team Championship will split

Ever since the tag team championships got unified, they were defended as one and is called the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. It seems like the company would possibly split the titles soon and introduce exclusive titles for their brand. For example, Raw will have the World Tag Team Championship and SmackDown will have the WWE Tag Team Championship.

WrestleMania will break records

WrestleMania 40 is already having great expectations among fans as the hype is getting bigger and bigger with the speculations. With the hype being set already, WrestleMania 40 will be the grandest event in recent years and would break up box office, ticket sales and viewership records making it one of the best WrestleManias of all time.

John Cena & Brock Lesnar will retire

John Cena and Brock Lesnar are two veterans of the wrestling industry who have been constantly teasing their retirement on and off television. Lesnar dropped his hats down during an event, Cena directly spoke about his condition in their most recent run. The 2024 could be the final year for both Cena and Lesnar’s in-ring career.
