Top four WWE Superstars who won Royal Rumble by eliminating Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the modern era, who has been ruling WWE. Reigns being a heel at present was once the biggest babyface and a fan favorite. Reigns is one of the constant faces that has been in every big match of the company. Talking about big matches, he had a connection with the Royal Rumble matches.
Roman has entered the rumble match six times and has been in the final two spots the most number of times (5 times), winning one in 2015. Roman was the runner-up on four different occasions. Here we take a look at WWE Superstars who won the Royal Rumble by eliminating Roman Reigns.
Batista 2014
Roman Reigns entered the 2014 Royal Rumble at #15 and dominated the entire match with his record breaking 12 eliminations. Reigns soon became the favourites to win, when they came to know the fan favourite Daniel Bryan was not in the match. However, Batista made his return to enter the Rumble match at #28 spot and eliminated Roman Reigns last to win the 2014 Rumble match. Although Batista had a great second rumble match win, WWE Universe booed him from the arena. It was considered as a great return at the wrong time.
Randy Orton 2017
In 2017 Roman Reigns entered the Royal Rumble match at #30, the most safest and luckiest spot to win the Rumble match. As soon as Reigns entered, he went on to eliminate three of the toughest stars The Undertaker, Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt from the match. As soon as Reigns eliminated Wyatt, Randy Orton, who entered at #23 delivered a RKO and eliminated Roman Reigns to win the 2017 Rumble match. Roman Reigns was the only elimination of Orton in his 20.52 minutes time in the ring.

Shinsuke Nakamura 2018
Roman entered he 2018 Royal Rumble match at #28 spot as one of the fan favorites. As soon as Reigns entered the match he went straight to eliminate Titus O’ Niel, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton & The Miz. However, Shinsuke Nakamura who entered at #14, being another people’s favourite, fired up and eliminated Roman Reigns last after the Kinshasa for the win.
Drew McIntyre 2020
2020 is one of the best-booked Royal Rumble matches in recent times. Drew McIntyre entered the 2020 Royal Rumble match a #16, where Brock Lesnar cleared half the Rumble match entrants single handedly. Drew however went on to eliminate Lesnar and became a fan favorite (who was heel before the Rumble match). McIntyre took control of the match from Lesnar’s hand and eliminated a total of six. Drew eliminated Roman Reigns in the final moment to win the 2020 men’s Rumble match
