Three things CM Punk could do on WWE Raw next week
On the WWE Raw Day 1 special episode, WWE announced that CM Punk will be returning to television next week on the January 08, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw. Punk had a great time in the house shows with his in-ring return matches and is all set to begin a new chapter this week. As Punk’s return has been announced, here are three things that he could do on Raw.
3. CM Punk meets Gunther
Ever since Punk returned to the company, he met a lot of people backstage and had few words with some of his old friends and new faces he never met before. Punk met Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Judgment Day, Ricochet, Chad Gable and others. However Punk has not met the Intercontinental Champion since then, as Gunther went off television for his childbirth. Punk could potentially cross paths with Gunther backstage and would try to have a quick chat, but Gunther would walk away from him.
2. Face off with Drew McIntyre
CM Punk met Drew McIntyre backstage during his last appearance on Raw, where Adam Pearce said that McIntyre would face Rollins at Day 1. Punk would probably cut promo teasing of winning the Men’s Royal Rumble and face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, but would be interrupted by Drew McIntyre, who would have a face-off. McIntyre would announce himself for the Royal Rumble and warn Punk to stay away from his path as he has a problem with Rollins and he wants him at WrestleMania.
1. Feud with The Judgment Day
CM Punk had a couple of matches against Dominik Mysterio at WWE Live Holiday Tour house shows and defeated him. After the house shows the feud will come to television as Judgment Day might confront Punk the upcoming week. Punk would be roasting them single handedly and possibly teasing a feud with Judgment Day. He might be joining hands with fellow wrestlers who have feud with Judgment Day such as Jey Uso or Creed Brothers.
