The 17-time World Champion is set to retire this Saturday.

The 17-time WWE World Champion John Cena is all set to hang up his wrestling boots this Saturday on the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

The tour, which started at the Raw Netflix debut, made its journey through a jaw-dropping heel turn, the 17th title win at WrestleMania, and becoming a Grand Slam Champion after capturing the Intercontinental title in November.

Cena is now set to face Gunther in his retirement match, as the latter won the tournament that was commenced to decide Cena’s final opponent. The Ring General is known for his submission chops, putting many to either tap out or go to sleep. Goldberg, in his retirement match, was also put to sleep by Gunther.

However, Cena is regarded as one of the toughest wrestlers, and he even showcased this at Survivor Series, picking up both Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for an AA. The 17-time WWE Champion has only tapped out four times in his career, against three opponents, and here we will take a look at them.

3. Chris Jericho

Cena took on Chris Jericho for the second time after his debut match against Kurt Angle in 2002. The two stars battled on the July 16 edition of WWE SmackDown, which emanated from the First Union Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where Jericho became the first star to put Cena into a submission, forcing Cena to tap out.

However, the Walls of Jericho transpired after Jericho landed a low blow, causing the disqualification and handing Cena the win in their second clash inside the squared circle.
