All matches announced for WWE Crown Jewel 2025 so far; Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Rhea Ripley in action & more

This year’s Crown Jewel PLE will take place in Australia!

Following the conclusion of Wrestlepalooza, WWE started promoting their second-to-last PLE of 2025, which is Crown Jewel 2025. The seventh edition of the PLE will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.

This is the first time the Crown Jewel PLE is being held outside of Saudi Arabia, as all six previous events have been held in the capital city of Riyadh. Nevertheless, the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Championship will once again be the focal point of the show.

The Championship pitted the men’s and women’s champions from both Raw and SmackDown brands against each other. The title was introduced last year, when Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan won the inaugural title.

The event will mark John Cena’s final pay-per-view and livestream appearance in Australia. Cena has only five appearances left on his retirement tour, two of which are at the remaining two PLEs of 2025.

Following his successful title defense in the main event of Wrestlepalooza, Cody Rhodes attended the post-show presser, where he was confronted by World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The two had an intense face-off during the post-show presser.

Neither star is scheduled for a title defense leading up to the PLE, setting up their clash on October 11. Triple H later confirmed the match for the 2025 edition of the PLE.

With five appearances left on his retirement tour, John Cena rallied for a final match against ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles. Cena amid uproar from fans tagged Styles and Triple H petitioning for the match. Styles quickly responded, accepting the offer, which was later made official by Triple H.

Triple H made the match official via his X handle, posting the match poster. Cena has no confirmed appearance before the PLE, which mean fans won’t get to see a promo battle between the two stars.

During the September 22 episode of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie Vaquer celebrated her Women’s World title win at Wrestlepalooza.

General Manager Adam Pearce, during the segment, announced that on 09/26 SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax on the September 26 episode of SmackDown. She would now face Vaquer in Australia for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

In the opening moments of the September 29 episode of Monday Night Raw, Iyo Sky was prepared to make peace with the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), whom she still considered family. However, another surprise attack by Asuka and Sane on both Sky and Rhea Ripley left her with no choice but to fight back.

Iyo Sky, after talking to GM Adam Pearce, informed Rhea that the two would be teaming up to take on Asuka and Sane in a tag team match at the upcoming PLE in Ripley’s backyard.

During the Crown Jewel go-home show, Roman Reigns was interrupted by Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman. The segment ended with a match announcement between the two for the PLE. Reigns and Reed will battle once again, this time in an Australian Street Fight.
