The 02/28 episode of SmackDown is the go-home show for the Elimination Chamber PLE

The 02/21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown concluded at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The show included multiple appearances from top stars including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair, and Jimmy Uso.

The show also featured the electrifying return of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson who made his return and announced the official location and date for the 2026 edition of WrestleMania. Johnson also had an offer for the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Sratton defeated Candice LeRae after which Nia Jax and LeRae ambushed the champion. Trish Stratus rushed to her aid but the numbers game took over as Jax gave a preview of what was to come at the Elimination Chamber where the two tag teams would collide.

Jimmy Uso also took out a page from his brother Jey Uso’s book as he rolled up Drew McIntyre and picked up a win. The WWE Tag Team Championship match between the champions DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) and the challengers Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) ended in disqualification as Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (Street Profits) attacked both teams.

In the main event of the show, Damian Priest and Bruan Strowman defeated the team of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu as this time Fatu accidentally took out Solo with a superkick.

The next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will serve as the go-home show for the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE and will air live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
