CM Punk will address the WWE Universe for the first time since losing at WrestleMania 41!

The 2025 edition of Backlash concluded on May 10 in St. Louis, and now the promotion is ready to deliver the fallout show of Monday Night Raw, which is set to emanate live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A.

The PLE saw John Cena defend the Undisputed title against Randy Orton while Gunther defeated Pat McAfee in a singles match. Lyra Valkyria, Dominik Mysterio, and Jacob Fatu defended their respective titles at the show.

The fallout show will feature developments that transpired at Backlash, along with new storylines which will culminate at the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa, Florida.

After weeks of build-up, Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky will team up with Rhea Ripley to battle the two NXT standouts in Giulia and Roxanne Perez. Giulia and Perez have been targeting Sky and Ripley for weeks, and last week they once again ambushed Sky while Ripley was away, which set up the tag team match this week.

In what has been dubbed as a dream matchup, Judgment Day’s Finn Balor will battle ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles. Balor is looking to take care of the Styles problem for his Judgment Day stablemate and Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.

Following a challenge issued by War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) last week, the former Tag Team Champions will face American Made (Julius & Brutus Creed) in a tag team match. The winners of this match will earn the opportunity to challenge the current WWE World Tag Team Champions, the New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston).

‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk will also make an appearance this week to address the WWE Universe for the first time since WrestleMania 41, where Paul Heyman turned on him and then on Roman Reigns to align with Seth Rollins. Punk made his return last week, costing Rollins the World title match against Jey Uso.

As announced by General Manager Adam Pearce, El Grande Americano’s “acquaintance” Chad Gable will battle Penta in a singles match. Additionallty, World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso is also set to make an appearance after he was sucker punched last week following his title defense, when Raw went off air by Logan Paul.
