This week’s show will feature a Joe Hendry concert.
The upcoming December 26 episode of the Blue brand will be the final SmackDown of 2025, as WWE looks ahead to 2026. It will also be the final two-hour show as the Blue brand once again transitions to the three-hour format.
The event will take place at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and will showcase several of the Blue Brand’s top stars. WWE has confirmed a singles match, a United States Championship open challenge, and the return of Drew McIntyre, who was suspended last month.
The show will feature a mix of storyline advancement, surprise attacks, and notable in-ring results that set up several developing angles on WWE television.
WWE pre-taped the December 26 episode of SmackDown on December 19 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, due to the Christmas holiday season. As a result, spoilers for the show have already surfaced.
Nevertheless, WWE has continued to deliver high-quality, must-see shows, proving that even pre-taped episodes can be an incredible viewing experience.
The show will also be a pivotal point in the Cody Rhodes – Drew McIntyre feud, likely leading to another match at the upcoming Royal Rumble 2026.
