The 2025 edition of SummerSlam features multiple high-stakes matches!

The 2025 edition of ‘the biggest party of the summer’, SummerSlam, will span across two nights, mirroring the format previously reserved only for WrestleMania. The PLE will feature stars from both Raw and SmackDown brands.

The 2025 edition of the show is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025. The show will emanate live from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S.A.

Adding star power to the blockbuster weekend, rap icon Cardi B will serve as the official hostess of WWE SummerSlam. Additionally, the 2025 edition of the show will become the first ever to stream live on Netflix.

John Cena and Cody Rhodes will collide in a street fight where Cena’s Undisputed WWE Championship will be contested. WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is set to defend the title against Jade Cargill, while Jelly Roll will team up with Randy Orton, ‘RK Roll’, to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in a tag team.

The newly crowned Women’s World Champion, Naomi, is set to defend the title in a triple-threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley. Becky Lynch is also set to defend the Women’s IC title in a no no-disqualification, no-count-out, last-chance match against Lyra Valkyria.

Furthermore, CM Punk will battle the current World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, as he looks to capture the World title after 12 years. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez are set to defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against the newly formed tag team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

United States Champion Solo Sikoa is set to defend the title in a steel cage match against Jacob Fatu, who used to stand alongside him as his enforcer. After being cleared for action, Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio is set to defend the title against AJ Styles at Night of Champions.

Roman Reigns is ready to team up with Jey Uso to battle Paul Heyman’s soldiers, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, in a tag team match, while Sami Zayn will take on Karrion Kross in a trilogy match.

Additionally, The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy) will defend the title the WWE Tag Team Championship in a Six-Pack Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for against Andrade and Rey Fenix, #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer), Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford).
