Damage CTRL has been on a mission to assault the former leader, Bayley. They kicked her out of the stable and have been continuing assaults on her since then week after week. Dakota Kai was the last one to betray Bayley, who legitimately challenged Bayley for a match and promised to end the fairytale.
On the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Bayley faced Dakota Kai in a singles match. The other members of Damage CTRL (Asuka, Kairi Sane, IYO SKY) stood on Dakota Kai’s corner. The match ended in a no contest, with the involvement of Dakage CTRL, as they went on to attack Bayley.
As Damage CTRL jumped over Bayley, Naomi came for the save, however the numbers game took them out. Although they dominated the match, it seems like one of the Damage CTRL members is potentially injured during the chaos.
Asuka potentially injured
During the Damage CTRL’s assault on Bayley, it is visible that Asuka was limping her leg, but still attacked Bayley. Asuka walked normally before the match, and even tried to interfere during the match making it clear that she got injured between. Asuka was struggling with her leg, just minutes before the show went off air.
Here is the video of injured Asuka limping her legs during the last minute chaos.
It is unknown whether she is legitimately hurt or could be back in a few days. Asuka & Kairi Sane are expected to defend their WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 40. Although their opponents are unknown, the rumors suggest that they could be Naomi & Bianca Belair.
It is notable that the fellow Damage CTRL member, Dakota Kai has just cleared from her leg injury and had her first match after that, no sooner Asuka got injured.
