WrestleMania 40-Night 1 match length
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has planned to have four long matches on WrestleMania Night 1.
Meltzer says that the Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch match for the Women’s World Championship, the Six-Pack Tag Team Championship Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Gunther vs Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship and the tag team match of The Rock & Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins will be lengthy on Night 1.
He also said that the Becky vs Rhea match will open the show & all these four matches will be very different and exceptional.
“The plan was to do four long matches on night one, starting with the Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch opener, as well as the ladder match for the tag titles, the semifinal of Gunther vs. Sami Zayn and of course the tag match, which is expected to be filled with bells and whistles with a long story.”
“Every match on the show is likely to be very good and the four key matches, for very different reasons, have shots at being exceptional. Also, all four are likely to be very different.”
