These factions use the numbers game to their advantage!
WWE is known for its legendary factions like Evolution, The Shield, D-Generation X, and the Nation of Domination. These groups have delivered some of the most iconic moments and rivalries in pro wrestling history.
Factions have been a predominant feature of pro wrestling since its inception, and multiple factions have influenced or even altered the course of many storylines in WWE history. These stables use the numbers game to their advantage in achieving goals together.
While there was a steep decline in the number of factions present in the Stamford-based promotion since the dawn of Triple H’s era, this has been rectified to an extent. Here, we take a look at the top five factions currently dominating WWE.
5. DarkState
The DarkState faction is one of the newest among the list of current factions, the stable consists of four members, namely, Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin. Darkstate’s aggressive tactics and strategic attacks have positioned them as a formidable force in NXT.
The faction debuted in April 2025 in the developmental brand NXT and immediately put everyone on notice by attacking several top Superstars. The Shield-esque faction still has a long way to go to cement itself, but the numbers game is in their favor.

4. The Judgment Day
While The Judgment Day has seen several changes in its lineup, the faction has remained a dominant force. The faction currently consists of Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Carlito, and JD McDonagh.
The faction has the largest number of members of any faction currently and also holds two titles, including the Intercontinental title, which is held by Dominik Mysterio, and the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, which are held by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
3. New Bloodline
In the absence of Roman Reigns following WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa took over the Bloodline, revamping it and adding members who are loyal to him. The faction has been involved in some incredible matches and was on top of the SmackDown roster, terrorizing anyone who dared to dissent.
As of now, the group consists of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and the newest addition, JC Mateo. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are also part of the faction, but are currently out of action due to injury. The faction has held the WWE Tag Team titles, and currently, Jacob Fatu holds the United States title. Additionally, the group has been having some issues since Sikoa lost the Ula Fala to Roman Reigns.

2. Wyatt Sicks
The Wyatt Sicks faction consists of Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy), Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Nikki Cross. The faction made its debut on the June 17, 2024 episode of Raw and quickly rose to prominence, largely due to its connection to The Wyatt Family and its similarly eerie presence.
However, the faction suffered from bad booking to injuries to its members as they have the potential to become one of the top stables in the promotion. The faction has returned after a four-month-long absence on the May 23 episode of SmackDown and put the whole tag team division on notice.
1. Paul Heyman Guys
At WrestleMania 41, Paul Heyman did the unthinkable as he not only betrayed his best friend, CM Punk, but also his ‘OTC’ Roman Reigns to align with Seth Rollins. Heyman quickly started recruiting to make the faction stronger and unstoppable as he first recruited Bron Breakker.
On May 24th, Saturday Night’s Main Event, it seemed like the faction had run into a huge problem weeks after its inception, but Heyman brought another trump card as Bronson Reed returned to align with the faction. The faction is now looking for total domination, and Rollins wants to consolidate power, starting first with capturing the World Heavyweight title.
